Aluminium Bronze

UNS Number :
C95400
Properties and Specifications

C95400 Aluminium Bronze, commonly referred to as C954, is a versatile aluminium bronze alloy. This alloy offers high yield and tensile strength, good ductility, weldability, and exceptional resistance to wear, fatigue, and deformation caused by shock or overload. Notably, it has remarkably high compressive strength, excellent resistance to wear and abrasion, superior anti-friction properties, and non-galling and non-scratching characteristics. With up to 11% aluminium content, it also benefits from copper's antimicrobial properties.

Applications

C95400 Aluminium Bronze serves various purposes in different industries such as pressure blocks for the steel industry, high-strength clamps, bushings, valves, gears, covers for marine hardware, pickling hooks, and landing gear parts.
