Standard Carbon Steel Hand Tools cannot be used as they will rust and contaminate the equipment and the product. Commonly used Stainless Steel grades like SS304/SS316 display good corrosion resistance but have poor mechanical strength and therefore give a poor tool life.
STANMITE® Stainless Steel Hand Tools are made from a proprietary alloy which exhibits higher strength and wear resistance as compared to SS 304 and SS 316 alloys. STANMITE® Stainless Steel has been tested for over 250+ hours for corrosion resistance properties.
