TECHNOLOGY
Pahwa MetalTech is a Precision Investment Casting and continuous casting manufacturer in India with expertise to manufacture engineering and general industrial components in Copper and Non-Ferrous alloys.
MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY
Our Manufacturing facility houses the most advanced Induction Melting furnaces both in Air and Vacuum and continuous casting machines. We have three manufacturing process technologies under one roof to cater to the diversified requirements and specifications of our Customers. From conventional Investment Casting which is a combination of air melting-air casting to completely vacuum melting and casting. Backed by Electrical Heat Treatment Furnace and Post Processing equipment.

AIR METLTING - AIR CASTING
Air Melting - Air Casting is conventional Investment Casting Process or commonly know as the lost wax casting process where the trees are carefully assembled with patterns made from high quality wax or 3D Printed Patterns. Here, the melting and casting takes place in air - ideally suited for simple alloys and high volume parts.
AIR METLTING - VACUUM CASTING
When you need to achieve sharp and intricate features in casting, this process is used. The alloy is prepared in an Air Melting induction furnace, and the shell is subject to vacuum thereby creating a pull when metal is poured. This helps fill the casting giving superior quality and finish and minimize post processing activity.

VACUUM METLTING - VACUUM CASTING
This is the most advanced technology where both melting and casting happens in a vacuum. There is very low to no porosities and No Oxides entrapment in castings. The alloy is prepared and melted in the top chamber and the shell is loaded in the bottom chamber. The castings can be made with features and geometries which are difficult/not possible to make via other processes.
VACUUM CONTINOUS CASTING
When it comes to precisely controlling the metallurgy or have an ultra low oxygen in continuous casting rods/bars this technology is used. This is one of the most advanced continuous casting technology where the oxygen ppm is measured in the melt before casting ensuring high quality rods everytime.

3D PRINTED PATTERNS
When it comes to making prototypes or one-off castings, investing in tooling to make a wax pattern becomes very expensive and increase the overall lead time of the casting. We use the most advanced 3D printed pattern of different materials and printing technology to get the best quality casting and finish. With evolution of generative designs, it is sometimes impossible to manufacture a wax pattern tooling and 3D Printed patterns is the only option.

ENGINEERING DESIGN & SIMULATION
METALLURGY
Over the years we have gained knowledge and understating of metallurgy of Copper and Aluminum alloys. We constantly work with metallurgists from premier institutes to develop new alloys and heat treatment processes
DESIGN
We use most advance 3D modelling software for design and configuring casting tree for high quality castings and better yields.
SIMULATION
With the help of in-house simulation software every new part is analyzed for its solidification characteristics. Gate design, feeding and chills are placed to obtain high integrity defect free castings.
